Where Does the Clothing Come From?
All the pieces you see for sale here were either donated or purchased from local thrift stores.
The products in the "Refashioned" section are made from those pieces.
What is TruSize?
Women's sizing is nonsense. You might be an XL in one brand, a 2X in another, and a 5X in China.
That incongruity in sizes is why we include measurements on all our listings, as well as the manufacturer's size and our own TruSize.
Our TruSize chart takes standard women's and men's measurements so that you will know the actual fit of the clothing on our site.
Why Should I Give You My Money?
Lots of reasons! First, I would really like you to. Turns out money is necessary for me to live.
Second, the money you spend here does a lot of good. 10% of the profits from every sale go directly to the charity we are supporting that month. You can find a full list of our charities on the Charities We Support page.
Finally, the profits from this site support my daughter's education. It is my goal to be able to fully pay for her college education by selling people's unwanted goods. So far, I'm on track!

By Purchasing From You, Have I Unintentionally Joined a War?
Yup! Fast fashion is an ugly thing, and I am happy to be fighting against it. It is estimated that 40 million people are enslaved worldwide for fast fashion.
When you shop with me, the only child labor you're supporting is when I can occasionally get my daughter to take pictures of new merchandise, and she gets paid in chocolate anyway.
Every item that you buy from me (or any other second-hand store) is an item that already exists, rather than supporting a system that is destroying the environment.

What is Your Return Policy?
As a small business, we currently cannot offer free returns.
We try to keep our prices low and our listings as informative as possible to help you make your purchasing decisions.
